We will be excited to continue our international mission opportunities when health regulations allow, until then, missions will be on pause until further notice

Missions Introduction

Our desire is to allow college aged young people to participate in what God is doing around the world, engaging with new cultures, and serving both domestically and internationally. Through this we hope they will gain greater perspective of Jesus’ heart for ALL people, as they live out the call to “love one another”! We also hope that this can bring a bit of new life to long-term missionaries, local churches & organizations who are dedicated to continual service in their communities. Through missions we have an opportunity to grow in our relationships with the Lord as we learn to live life on mission!

World Deputation is a 8-week international mission trip through The INN Community. College aged students sign up without knowing where they will be sent, what they will be doing or who they will be going with. You simply sign up for 8 weeks of serving Jesus– wherever he will take you— saying, “Here I am, send me!” (Isaiah 6:8). Eventually we do reveal where our deputies will be going before they leave, and while the locations and ministries change each year, what stays constant is the transformational experience students get while on World Deputation, engaging God and culture around the world!

For over 15 years over Spring Break the INN community has partnered with the organizations, Children of the Nations and I Love Baseball in creating relationships and connections between communities in the Dominican Republic and college aged students in Seattle.

Every year over Spring Break the INN community partners with Young Life College and heads up to Malibu, Canada to serve with students from other colleges and get the camp ready for campers in the summer! The week is filled with getting to experience what Young Life is about, making new friends and creating great memories in one of the best places!

Missions at the INN are possible due to the incredible community that sends our students out into our city and our world. One way that you can participate in this community is by praying for our students as they go on missions trips. Check out the INN’s blog to follow along with our students as they participate in missionary work. Of course, there is also a financial side to missions and if you would like to support missions at the INN with a donation, please visit our give page.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

-ISAIAH 6:8-9
