The INN Seattle is the college ministry of University Presbyterian Church. We meet every Tuesday night during the school year. The INN community is much more than just Tuesday nights, so be sure to check out opportunities to get involved and upcoming events.
To the Glory of God . . . Our purpose is to "Go and make disciples of all nations," beginning with college-age individuals and young adults in the greater Seattle area.
We Aspire To
Introduce them to Jesus Christ and urge them to commit their lives to him as Savior and Lord and help them develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
We prepare God’s people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up by:
- Teaching and equipping them to better understand and communicate their faith
- Helping them experience Christian community and intimate, honest relationships with one another
- Beginning the process of helping them discover and use their spiritual and leadership gifts
- Providing opportunities and a vision for a life of mission in their communities and around the world
As part of God’s call to us, we seek to understand the various needs of college-age individuals and young adults and to creatively minister to those needs. Our desire is that their faith established today will stand firm tomorrow.
Pursuing Real Life in Jesus Christ
Things We Do
During the academic school year, the INN meets on Tuesday nights at 9pm. As we gather we hope to be a place for any college student in the Seattle area to discover real life in Jesus, through food, fun, music, prayer, a sermon, and community.
One of the ways we hope students discover real life in Jesus is through joining in the work that we believe Jesus is doing in our community and in the world. Some ways that we do that are through engagement on local college campuses, working with UW’s large Greek community, interaction and service with our local homeless community, encouraging and empowering high school service and ministry, and short-term local and international mission trips.
Being so close to the University of Washington a majority of our student community comes from there. We have traditionally had a large portion of our UW population come from the Greek community which is located just blocks away from us. Along with the UW we do have a good amount of students coming from Seattle Pacific University, Seattle University, and various local Community Colleges.
We have a full-time staff consisting of 5 senior staff members and 5 year-long interns. We believe that real life in Jesus is something that is participated in. Because of this, we try to empower our students to take ownership of this ministry on our Student Leadership team.
Who We Serve
We strive to be a welcoming community for any and all college-aged students in the Seattle area. While most students come from the University of Washington, Seattle Pacific University, and Seattle University, you are welcome no matter where you go to school.
